Princetonia allenbyensis

This slide shows some details of Princetonia fruits and seeds. On the left is a mature fruit cut in longitudinal section. You can see the fruit stalk at the bottom, the extensive placental region in the center with one attached seed, and, to the periphery, part of the fruit wall. 
On the right are several Princetonia seeds cut in various planes of section. These seeds have a thick integument composed of palisade cells.
